Frequently Asked Questions

  • Where do I download barcodes for InBloom?
    • You can find them at the bottom of the page, here:
      http://inbloomsoftware.com/download/

Once you download and unzip the files, you'll find instructions inside the unzipped folder.  In addition, you'll want to make sure you change the Price Tag layout in your Settings (Main Menu > Other Modules > Settings > Printing tab) to a label that has barcodes.

  • How do I add a new payment type in Sales?
    • To add a new payment type such as "Check" or "Diner's Club", follow these clicks: Main Menu > Other Modules > Data Administration > Sales Payment Types. In the resulting screen, click New Record on the bottom left and enter "Check" in the name field
  • Can I customize InBloom?
    • Yes, you can customize nearly all of InBloom using FileMaker Pro; however, we recommend only customizing the Printouts.fp7/.IBL file and the InBloom Data.fp7/.IBL file you can maintain your customization while updating other parts of the program. If you update the main application file, named InBloom.fp7/.IBL, with customizations you won't be able to update your application with any new fixes or feature enhancements without redoing all of the customizations.
