How to track returned & donated items
You can easily track which items are returned to the consignor or donated in InBloom. From any inventory screen, simply isolate the items that are going to be returned, then click the Actions toolbar button, then specify whether the items were returned or donated.
- For example, we’ll open Account #1000.

Then, since we want to return items 2 through 5, we’ll click on item #1 and click on the Omit Item button in the toolbar.- Next, we’ll click on item #5 and click the Omit Below button to temporarily omit / hide the records after #5, now we’re simply left with inventory items 2, 3, 4, and 5.

- Click on the Actions button in the toolbar. Now choose the Mark All Items Returned option and all of the outstanding items will be marked returned for items 2 thru 5. You will see the Status field change to either Consignor Return or Mixed depending on whether there were transactions other than returning the items.

You can also mark any individual item returned or donated through the same steps. If you have configured your copy of InBloom to do so, you can see the status of items at-a-glance with color coding, as demonstrated below
