The Kindergarden Boutique

The KinderGarden boutique, located in the city of Ripon, CA, started with a mission to serve the families in the local community, and they are succeeding in many ways. At the heart of their operation is InBloom shop software.

They are a children’s consignment shop with a very “boutique” feel, carrying only the highest quality used and new items – often enough that many first-time shoppers assume that all of their inventory is new. They also offer a unique service to their community in the form of the Consignment for Charity program. They’ve partnered with a number of charitable organizations within the city, and when customers bring in items to be consigned for those charities, the consigner’s proceeds from the sale go directly to the charitable organization. They, themselves, are not a nonprofit, but they are using InBloom and their shop to give back to the community in a real and tangible way.

InBloom has made it incredibly simple to track our more than 10,000 inventory items and hundreds of customers. We have had nothing but positive experiences … We like InBloom so well that we have recommended it to several other shop owners, most of whom have been afraid to computerize because it seems too complex and expensive.
